Our program here at Johnston Community College is a competency based program, where clinics are observed by an instructor at all times.
The purpose is to provide students a virtual clinic experience as well as providing a service to our community. For your health and ours, we recommend you NOT have any form of massage if you have been ill or on antibiotics during the last few weeks.
"Therapeutic Massage"
- 60 minute table massages are offered.
- The clinics runs through late August (except when JCC is closed)
- On Tuesday evenings appointments are at 5:15pm and 6:30pm (final massage ends at 7:30pm).
- You must schedule an appointment with us by voicemail (919)209-2583 or email massageclinic@mail.johnstoncc.edu. When school is in session, a student will return your call to verify your appointment date as soon as they can.
"Rejuvenating Chair Massages"
- Chair Massages are offered on select Wednesdays. By APPOINTMENT ONLY and available on a first come first serve basis.
- Appointment times are 5:15pm. 5:45pm, 6:15pm, 6:45pm
- The chair massage clinic will be held on Wednesdays. (Except when JCC is closed)
- Complimentary to everyone age 18+ - Please bring picture ID w/DOB.
- Chair Massages take approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
"Calming Hand & Foot Massages"
- Hand & Foot Massages are also offered on selected Wednesdays during Chair Clinic.
- By APPOINTMENT ONLY and on a first come first serve basis.
- Appointment times are 5:15pm. 5:45pm, 6:15pm and 6:45pm
- The Hand & Foot Massage lasts 20 minutes and costs $10.
